Our international opening for ruhrSUMMIT and the International Town highlights the international activities in the Ruhr Metropolis.

Experience a unique opportunity for networking and exchange in the Ruhr Ecosystem. In addition to a brief introduction to the ecosystem, a Dutch success story and a sneak peek at ruhrSUMMIT, this event is all about bringing together start-​ups, scale-​ups, entrepreneurs and stakeholders from the region.

This event is the ideal setting for international and regional participants arriving one day before ruhrSUMMIT. We are looking forward to welcoming a large delegation of Dutch start-​ups, supported by representatives from the Dutch government and consulate. Guests from partner regions such as England and Poland are also expected.

Here, participants will learn all about how to build a diverse personal and professional network and why this is so important. One referent will be Dominic Halm from WECON as well as other network and city partners at the joint brunch from 9.30 am. In addition, there will be the opportunity to network with each other in advance of the ruhrSUMMIT, to make specific plans for the event on 28 May and afterwards all participants will have the chance to continue their day-to-day business via free co-working atWork Inn.
